The Boston Celtics are listening to trade offers for recent acquisition Anfernee Simons, who was part of the Jrue Holiday trade to the Portland Trail Blazers last month in a cost-cutting move. Simons averaged 19.3 points and 4.8 assists last season and is on an expiring deal worth $27.7 million.

The Boston Celtics are reportedly exploring the possibility of flipping guard Anfernee Simons after acquiring him in a trade that sent veteran guard Jrue Holiday to the Portland Trail Blazers this offseason.

The Boston Celtics are “actively trying to trade Anfernee Simons,” according to NBA insider Brian Windhorst of ESPN.  The Celtics acquired Simons from the Portland Trail Blazers in the Jrue Holiday trade.
