Despite that shuffling, Benedict’s story is next on deck for Season 4. During a February event held in London, current showrunner Jess Brownell teased that the forthcoming season is the “ Bridgerton” season most “faithful ” to the respective novel, and one that will kick off with a masquerade ball.

They then followed up with a synopsis which read, "The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict (Luke Thompson). Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down -- until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother's masquerade ball."
