ATLANTA — An investigation is underway after multiple people were injured in overnight shootings in Atlanta, according to witnesses. Officers said they found one person on the ground who died from their injuries. Atlanta police responded to reports of multiple shootings on Edgewood Avenue and Hilliard Street.

Eleven people were shot—one fatally—early Monday near a streetcar stop in Atlanta’s Sweet Auburn neighborhood.

Police say the violence began around 9:44 p.m. near Oak Drive SE and continued across multiple locations, including Mount Zion Road and a traffic stop on Old Hapeville Road.
