Adolescence has continued to wow audiences as the show’s 15-year-old star, Owen Cooper, has landed a 2025 Emmy nomination for his role of teen murderer Jamie Miller.

He was the breakout star of Netflix success story Adolescence, and now British actor Owen Cooper can add Emmy history maker to his list of achievements. The 15-year-old is the youngest ever nominee in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Anthology Series or Movie category at the Primetime Emmy Awards.

Alongside Scorsese, Bryan Cranston (69), Dave Franco (40), Anthony Mackie (46), and Ron Howard (71) are also nominated in the category "Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series" - all for appearances in "The Studio". Jon Bernthal (48) is the exception: he received his nomination for a guest appearance in the series "The Bear".
