Maybe “superhero fatigue” is a thing of the past – with DC’s “Superman” still soaring in theaters, Marvel’s “Fantastic Four” reboot is set to join the fun this weekend, with positive momentum.
As part of the promotion for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the cast sat down and met their Marvel Rivals counterparts, since new movie-themed costumes have been added to the game. It went as well as you'd expect, considering the cast only had a limited amount of time to learn the game, but some parts left more of an impression than others.
The dust has yet to settle on Marvel’s latest MCU entry, but Fantastic Four: First Steps is off to a strong start this weekend. In terms of critical reception, it’s doing about the same as James Gunn’s Superman,
But it was a little odd to hear that Marvel also planned to make the Fantastic Four a major part of the MCU’s future. Even though the Fantastic Four have always been prominent in Marvel’s comics, the characters — created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee — had never translated well to the big screen.
