Downtown Flint is buzzing with summer events, from Back to the Bricks, the Crim Races, and Bikes on the Bricks later in August and September.
What hasn't changed is Flint's love for a good car show—an extended one called Back to the Bricks that began this year with Tune Up parties as early as Aug. 7.
Downtown Flint is being taken over Aug. 15-20 by thousands of old school muscle cars, hot rods, and other vintage beauties for the annual Back to the Bricks car show and cruise.
Taylor said Back to the Bricks makes an effort to push participants toward the local business that make Flint what it is today. "Everyone wins when Back to the Bricks comes into town," she said.
