The Milford high school student who spent six days in immigration detention before his release on bail Thursday said his immediate desire is to get back to “regular life,” and high school exams.

Marcelo Gomes da Silva, the 18-year-old Massachusetts high school student who was arrested on his way to volleyball practice last week, was granted bond on Thursday.
