A Connecticut jury has acquitted a man who was accused of killing a high school athlete during a fight at a house party

Valle, then 16, fatally stabbed 17-year-old James McGrath, 17, outside a house party in Shelton, but the jury found he acted in self-defense.

Jury deliberations are going into a third day in the trial of Raul Valle after the jury said they remain deadlocked on the murder charge filed against the man accused of killing 17-year-old Fairfield Prep student James “Jimmy” McGrath.
