Following the Canadian GP, Red Bull Racing submitted two protests against George Russell. F1 Journalist Michael Schmidt believes, there were other reasons why they did not agree with the stewards. Red Bull argued the Mercedes driver should have been investigated for two different reasons: driving erratically and dropping back too far behind the Safety Car.
