Marvel Studios is dialing back its presence at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con.The renowned Comic-Con event, scheduled from Thursday, July 24, 2025, to Sunday, July 27, 2025, will see a more subdued participation from Marvel Studios this year.

If a no- Avengers -no-Hall-H scenario sounds familiar, it is: Marvel skipped its Hall H slot in 2011 because the original The Avengers was still in production, and passed again in 2015 and 2018. It also skipped 2020 and 2021 because of Covid and 2023 because of the Hollywood strikes.

Doctor Doom is already destroying things in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’s got his eyes set on the Fantastic Four, Avengers, and now with his movie, Avengers: Doomsday, having been pushed until December 2026, he’s taken a big bite out of San Diego Comic-Con too. Marvel Studios won’t have one of its signature Hall H panels this year.
