On Wednesday, the NFL released the full regular-season schedule. The Pittsburgh Steelers schedule includes a trip to Ireland to take on the Minnesota Vikings and four games in prime time. In the early 1960s, when the NFL comprised 14 teams, crafting the league schedule wasn’t quite an art and certainly wasn’t yet a science. Dan Rooney, then an executive for the family-owned Pittsburgh Steelers, would lay out 14 dominoes, moving them around as he scribbled out a weekly lineup of potential matchups.

According to a recent schedule leak, the Steelers will host the Miami Dolphins in Week 15 for Monday Night Football.

It will be an all-AFC West affair when the NFL returns to Brazil in Week 1. The Chiefs will face the Chargers on Friday, Sept. 5, at Corinthians Arena in São Paulo in a game that will stream for free on YouTube.

The 2025 NFL schedule drops on Wednesday evening, with the league announcing its full 272-game slate for the upcoming season. And the calendar is chock-full of anticipated matchups, including the Dallas Cowboys playing host to the Kansas City Chiefs in a Thanksgiving special on CBS and Paramount+.
