After NJ Transit engineers rejected a grossly inadequate tentative agreement, the Federal government is attempting to prevent a strike that could cripple transit service in the state.

With the gubernatorial primary less than two months away, candidates from both parties are crisscrossing the state making appeals to voters on issues that affect their lives and New Jersey overall.
