Following the killing of two Israeli Embassy staffers, faith leaders and city officials Thursday returned to the museum for a ceremony marking the tragedy.

The Capital Jewish Museum reopened Thursday morning with an invitation-only tribute to the Israeli Embassy staffers who were killed outside its entrance last week.

Washington D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser thanked the city’s Jewish museum for reopening a week after a gunman killed two Israeli Embassy staffers.
