Gaines has shown his support for the same sex-couple who featured on his and wife Joanna Gaines' new show, "Back to the Frontier."

Back to the Frontier, which premiered on July 10, follows three families, including Hanna and Riggs, as they attempt to live like 19th-century homesteaders. Speaking to LGBTQ+ outlet Queerty, Hanna also called the experience “a great, amazing opportunity to normalize same-sex couples and same-sex families.”

The former stars of 'Fixer Upper,' who now run the lifestyle channel The Magnolia Network, will evaluate entrepreneurial pitches. Texan Kendra Scott will also be a guest shark.
