The Cavaliers bullied the Knicks from the start Friday night, winning in a matchup of two of the Eastern Conference's top teams.

Jalen Brunson knew the challenge posed by the Eastern Conference’s No. 1-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers. He knew they were a high-octane offense among the league leaders in 3-point efficiency, an area the Knicks have struggled defending this season.

The league tried out a new format for the 2025 All-Star game, which included a four-team tournament-style format. However, this might be best as a one-time event. Cleveland Cavaliers superstar Donovan Mitchell opened up about the new format after the game and didn't appear to be too impressed with how it went.

Toronto was on the second leg of a back-to-back and came into the game hobbling without a full lineup. The All-Star break could not come at a better time for the Raptors who have Brandon Ingram out with an ankle injury and Jakob Poeltl out with a hip injury. There is no timetable for their return and their absence was felt Wednesday night.
