Favourites Chelsea, fielding a second-string team, cantered into the Europa Conference League final with a regulation 1-0 second-leg win over Swedish side Djurgarden on Thursday for a 5-1 aggregate victory.

Chelsea advanced to the final of the Conference League after beating Djurgården 1-0 in the second leg of their semifinal encounter on Thursday. The Premier League club advanced 5-1 on aggregate over the Swedish opponent that had reached a semifinal of a European competition for the first time.

Chelsea have discovered who they will face in the 2025 Conference League final later this month. Enzo Maresca's side confirmed their place in May's final at Stadion Wrocław in Wroclaw, Poland after overcoming Swedish side Djurgarden over two legs in the semi-finals.
