While Kevin Durant reportedly prefers to play elsewhere, the Phoenix Suns haven't given up hope he would accept a trade to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kevin Durant Faced Rejection From His Top NBA Trade Choice originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Shams Charania of ESPN reported on Saturday that Kevin Durant wants the Phoenix Suns to trade him to the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs or Houston Rockets.

On Monday, ESPN confirmed that possibility, reporting that the Suns have focused on negotiations with three teams: the Rockets, Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Timberwolves are obviously not one of the three teams on that list. According to Shams Charania, "Durant has no desire to be in Minnesota with the Timberwolves."
