Richard Ham was shot and killed after allegedly hitting a Florida sheriff's deputy in the head with a metal rod and trying to burn his girlfriend's 9-year-old son who had been reported missing.

According to a press release, Richard Ham, 39, and Lakenya Phillips, 30, were burning the belongings of Phillips' 9-year-old son because they thought he was possessed by a demon.
