LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) -A local festival is turning into a relief effort after last week’s severe storms swept across the South Plains, damaging homes, vehicles and leaving behind widespread debris.
"At approximately 6:55 p.m., the National Weather Service included Lubbock, Texas in a Tornado Warning. This warning activated the Outdoor Warning System (OWS)," reads the statement.
