The death of professional wrestling's most recognizable showman sparked reactions from the worlds of entertainment and politics.

Tragedy struck the sports entertainment and wrestling community on Thursday when it was announced that longtime professional wrestler and WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan passed away at his home in Clearwater,

Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, rose to superstardom as the face of the national expansion of the World Wrestling Federation, now WWE. Hogan, who grew up in Tampa and lived there his whole adult life, was also a business owner in Tampa, owning Hogan's Beach Shop and Hogan's Hangout.
