SpaceX plans for major Starship expansion at Kennedy Space Center
The Gigabay will stand 390 feet tall with approximately 46.5 million cubic feet of interior processing space and 815,000 square feet of workspace, located on Kennedy Space Center, south of the shuttle landing facility, according to SpaceX.
SpaceX to expand Starship to Florida, a Pacific atoll, and add to Starbase
At nearby Cape Canaveral, SpaceX intends to build a Starship launch site at Space Launch Complex 37. Built in the late 1950s, NASA used it for the Apollo program and Delta IV rockets have flown from the site since the 1990s. The request is also under environmental review.
