Alex Turcotte scored twice and notched an assist as the Los Angeles Kings thumped the struggling Vancouver Canucks 5-1 on Thursday.

The Vancouver Canucks (19-14-10) are home from the road and open a three-game run at Rogers Arena tonight when they host the Los Angeles Kings (24-12-5).

Turcotte scores twice and adds an assist – all in the first 10 minutes – as the Kings thump Vancouver, 5-1. Adrian Kempe, Kevin Fiala and Warren Foegele also score.

Thank goodness I didn’t pay $179 to go to this game. The Vancouver Canucks outdid themselves in all the worst ways last night, losing in embarrassing 5-1 fashion to the Los Angeles Kings at home.
