TSA agents at New England airports screened more than 33.5 million passengers. Although New England saw 48 firearms detected, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport topped the national list with 440 firearms detected.

In Connecticut, nine guns were found at Bradley International Airport, and two were discovered at Tweed-New Haven Airport last year.

More guns were detected at Logan Airport security checkpoints by TSA officials last year compared with the year before. But overall, fewer guns were detected at all eight New England airports in the same time frame.

Josh McDaniels, the former New England Patriots offensive coordinator and, most recently, the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, is reportedly being considered for a return to his old stomping grounds.

The New England Patriots got their man. New England are negotiating a deal with Mike Vrabel, who will become the 16th head coach in franchise history, per the Boston Globe.
