Anfernee Simons acknowledges Damian Lillard's contribution in shaping him up into a star player after defeating the Bucks

Simons has really elevated his game for the Trail Blazers. The team has won four of their last five contests, and Simons has been on fire for the month of January. Over his last 14 appearances, Simons has compiled averages of 20.6 points, 4.6 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 0.6 steals and 3.9 three-pointers on 45.1 percent shooting from the field.

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 125-112 on Tuesday, as the franchise’s all-time leading scorer, Damian Lillard, returned to the city he spent the first 11 seasons of his career.

It’s Milwaukee’s third straight loss to the Blazers, and the second straight game they’ve lost in Portland — the Blazers defeated the Bucks 119-116 on Jan. 31, 2024, in Lillard’s first trip back to the Moda Center.

This is the second game in Portland for Lillard since he was traded to Milwaukee in September 2023. Last season, the Blazers beat the Bucks in Portland, 119-116.
