(Gray News) - A man nearly missed his flight because he was stuck inside a self-driving Waymo taxi that kept driving in circles. The incident happened last month at the Scottsdale Airport in Arizona. Mike Johns said he was in one of Waymo’s humanless cars to get to the airport when everything went haywire.

Mike Johns was heading back home to LA from Scottsdale, Arizona in December, traveling to the airport in one of Waymo's autonomous vehicles.

The Waymo self-driving company says it has fixed a problem that caused a car to repeatedly circle a parking lot for about five minutes while its rider was trying to get to an airport.
