Chalamet returned to “Saturday Night Live” for his third hosting gig after he was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown.”
Sandler, 58, was a cast member on SNL between 1990 and 1995 and has made numerous cameos since then. His most recent return saw him introduce a musical performance by host Timothée Chalamet, who sang the Bob Dylan songs Outlaw Blues and Three Angels, fresh off his Oscar nomination for the Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown.
The “A Complete Unknown” star’s third “SNL” appearance was a hard sell for the Oscars—with Bob Dylan deep cuts, silly skits, and surprise special guests.
Adam Sandler surprised Saturday Night Live viewers by making a quick appearance during tonight’s episode hosted by Timothée Chalamet. Sandler introduced Chalamet before the latter channeled Bob Dylan for the musical performance portion of the show. The comedian pronounced the Dune star’s name in a very silly, Sandler kind of way.
