One of the biggest tragedies to occur in the city of New Orleans during Super Bowl week was the sudden death of NFL reporter Adan Manzano. An investigation revealed that he was likely drugged and robbed prior to his death,

Manzano, 27, was found dead in his hotel room in Kenner, a suburb of New Orleans, on Feb. 5, four days before the big game. In March, a woman named Danette Colbert was charged with second-degree murder after being seen on surveillance video entering and then leaving Manzano's room and later being found with his credit cards and cellphone.

A second suspect has been charged with murder in the death of a television reporter who traveled to New Orleans in February to cover the Super Bowl, authorities say.
