While Gadot has now linked the film’s box office woes to geopolitics, "Snow White" was plagued with controversies long before its release, most of them surrounding its leading lady, Rachel Zegler.

Gal Gadot clarified her remarks about how celebrities being pressured to speak against Israel played a role in “Snow White” flopping at the box office.

“I was disappointed that the movie was greatly affected by that and didn’t do well at the box office.”
