The Jimmy Butler trade saga is dominating NBA discourse. The veteran forward has requested a trade out of South Beach and recently earned himself an indefinite suspension. Naturally, the Golden State Warriors have been linked with a potential move to pair Butler with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.

Draymond Green explained why the Golden State Warriors trading for Miami Heat star forward Jimmy Butler would be difficult to pull off.

The Golden State Warriors reportedly may once again be part of the Jimmy Butler sweepstakes. According to Kevin O'Connor of Yahoo Sports, the Warriors

But in this new trade idea, the Warriors get a little wild and drastically change their rotation. Golden State would move on from Draymond Green and bring in another All-Star-level player. The Warriors aren't likely to move Green but it's certainly interesting to think about.

On the same day that the club dealt for defenseman Scott Perunovich from the St. Louis Blues to help with depth, the New York Islanders placed defenseman Ryan Pulock and goaltender Marcus Hogberg on injured reserve on Monday due to upper-body injuries.

The Warriors medical has given Draymond green light to do some light on-court work, which is a great step since he fell to injury on Jan. 18.
