The largest of several wildfires in northwestern Colorado grew to over 100,000 acres overnight, prompting new evacuations. Fire crews have made some gains in containing the fire, however, going from 0% to 6% containment.

One of the fires burning now more than 100,000 acres in Rio Blanco County in northwest Colorado continues to grow during ongoing "near-critical fire weather" conditions.

RIO BLANCO COUNTY, Colo. — The Lee Fire in Rio Blanco County has grown to the sixth largest in Colorado history, according to the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control. The fire was mapped with infrared technology at more than 106,000 acres as of Sunday.
