A sequel to 'My Best Friend's Wedding' is in development at Sony, with 'Past Lives' and 'Materialists' writer Celine Song on board to write.

Collider first reported the project. “My Best Friend’s Wedding” sequel is in early development at Sony Pictures. Song is not in talks to direct, though. IndieWire has reached out to Sony for comment.

Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt are reunited on the set of "The Devil Wears Prada 2," which has been filming at various location in Manhattan starting in July. The film is the long-awaited sequel to their 2006 classic, which grossed a strong $326 million worldwide and earned a best actress Oscar nomination for Streep.
