Stock index futures inched lower on Tuesday, a day after the S&P 500 extended its winning streak, shrugging off Moody’s downgrade of the U.S.'s last remaining top-tier credit rating.

U.S. stock futures were pointing to losses early on Wednesday as rising bond yields weigh on an otherwise tranquil market. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were down 201 points, or 0.5%. S&P 500 futures were falling 0.
