A coalition of LGBTQIA+ people and allies hung a large transgender pride flag from Yosemite's El Capitan on Tuesday.

The activists, who describe themselves as “a coalition of transgender, queer, and ally climbers,” unfurled a 55-by-35-foot transgender pride flag on the famous rockface at 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to a statement shared by the group. The action, called “Trans is Natural,” unfolded as scores of spectators watched from the valley below.
