Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed a law instituting sweeping exemptions for name, image, and likeness (NIL) deals for athletes.

The law was signed amid controversy between the U of A's NIL collective and a player who joined the transfer portal just months after arriving on campus.
