Chad Stahelski take a guess at the 'John Wick' franchise's insane body count and gives an update on the fifth Keanu Reeves movie.

The filmmaker admits to feeling frustrated about the online narrative surrounding the film's lengthy delay and two weeks of reshoots: "There was additional shooting because the studio loved the movie.

"John Wick" spinoff "Ballerina" sees Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) stepping into frame as a new assassin... and delivers plenty of setpieces "Wick" fans will love.

Which, it sounds like, was the case with The Continental. It was not the case, however, with Ballerina, in which both Stahelski and Reeves were involved. And it will not be the case with a potential John Wick 5, which Stahelski knows everyone wants, but he’s still not completely sold on.

When asked by THR why there is a continuation of the franchise with Reeves even after the fourth film “ended so well,” Stahelski said, “I’m with you, man. Keanu and I have discussed this many times and feel the same way. We finished ‘3’ and thought that was going to be the last one.”

With the director in the process of writing the sequel with scribe Mike Finch, Chad Stahelski has teased they have a "pretty good story" lined up for John Wick: Chapter 5.

Seemingly out of thin air, the John Wick franchise appeared one day and launched the most successful original film series of the past decade. The man most directly responsible for its success (outside of Keanu Reeves himself) has been doing the rounds with Ballerina 's release this weekend, and he's had quite a bit to say.
