Scuffles have broken out between riot police and demonstrators on the Greek island of Rhodes during a protest against the war in Gaza.

Protesters opposing the Thacker Pass lithium mine were surveilled for years by the FBI, local law enforcement and private security, records show.

The gatherings were lined with numerous demonstrations this year following President Donald Trump retaking office.
