A U.S. House committee issued a subpoena for Jeffrey Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell to appear at a deposition at Florida federal women's prison.

James Comer, chairman for the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, on Wednesday issued a subpoena for Ghislaine Maxwell, according to a press release from his office. The subpoena came on the same day a Florida judge denied a request by President Donald Trump's administration to unseal transcripts of grand jury testimony related to Jeffrey Epstein's case.
