Air India has concluded a round of voluntary precautionary inspections on the Fuel Control Switch (FCS) locking mechanism across all Boeing 787 and Boeing 737 aircraft in its fleet. The airline confirmed that no issues were found during the checks.

The development comes as part of a broader safety directive issued by the DGCA on July 14, 2025, advising all Indian operators using Boeing aircraft to carry out these checks following global advisories and recent aviation incidents.
