A Novant Health helicopter crashed Monday in eastern North Carolina, officials confirmed Monday night. The medical helicopter crash happened on Monday, Feb. 24, near Sidbury Road in New Hanover County.

Three crew members were recovered from the helicopter and taken to hospital for evaluation, but no fatalities have been reported.

A spokesman for Novant Health said three team members were on board the helicopter at the time of the crash. They are being transported to the hospital for evaluation.
