At this time last year, left-hander Jamie Arnold out of Florida State was projected to be in the mix for the top overall selection in the 2025 MLB Draft.

Arnold was selected with the No. 11 pick in the 2025 MLB Draft, marking Florida State‘s highest overall draft selection since 2008 and the highest-drafted pitcher since 1995 (Jonathan Johnson).
