Show' star has partnered with the resistance-based Pvolve fitness plan, which research says can help improve physical issues caused by menopause

Pvolve is a low-impact exercise programme based around a grid mat with 12 boxes. The classes, around half-an-hour long, incorporate strength-building exercises using equipment such as resistance bands, and increasing in intensity over the 12 weeks.

The researchers said changes in the body during the menopause are thought to accelerate age-related decline in muscle mass, strength, and stability. The NHS recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise a week, or 75 of vigorous intensity, to help reverse these age-related changes.

A study found the Friends star's at-home workout, Pvolve, increases hip strength, balance, flexibility, and lean body mass in women aged between 40 and 60.
