George "King George" Coulam, the controversial founder of the Texas Renaissance Festival who was featured in the HBO series Ren Faire, has been found dead in his home in Todd Mission, Texas, according to the Grimes County Sheriff's Department.

George Coulam, who was recently forced to sell the country’s largest Ren fair, was found at his home, Stargate Manor, near the festival grounds.
