Nabha, an 8-year-old Namibian cheetah, has died at Kuno National Park due to severe injuries sustained during a hunting attempt within her enclosure.
With her death, Kuno is now left with 26 cheetahs — nine adults (six males and three females) — and 17 cubs born in the park.
This comes just days after Modi's visit to Namibia during which he  emphasised conservation efforts adopted for Namibian cheetahs following their intercontinental translocation.
