NCAA could expand March Madness tournament as soon as 2026
NCAA President Charlie Baker made that clear on Thursday, saying he sees value in expanding March Madness by handful of teams and that he wants to reach a decision in the next few months. Baker speaking during Big 12 spring meetings, discussed the idea of expanding from 68 teams to 72 or 76 as early as 2026, according to the Associated Press.
