The bishop will be handing leadership of the church over to his daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and her husband, Toure Roberts.

Pastor T.D. Jakes will pass the leadership of the Dallas megachurch, Potter’s House, to his daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and son-in-law, Touré Roberts, in July.

Jakes’ announcement comes nearly six months after a major health incident that he later described as a “massive heart attack.”
