Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and others will meet with their Chinese counterparts in London on Monday for renewed trade talks, President Donald Trump said.

China and the US had on May 12 struck a 90-day deal to roll back some of the tariffs the two nations imposed on each other's goods.

This follows the much-anticipated telephonic conversation between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday, in which both sides agreed to talks to prevent an all-out trade war over tariffs and global rare earth supplies.
