Philadelphia Phillies superstar first baseman Bryce Harper left the team's game against the Atlanta Braves Tuesday after he was hit by a 95-mph fastball from Spencer Strider in the bottom of the first inning.

In Harper’s absence, Philadelphia has moved Alec Bohm to first with Edmundo Sosa taking over at third base. Sosa has been excellent as a depth piece this season, batting .294 with a .725 OPS and a 101 OPS+ over 85 at-bats. His defensive versatility is a huge asset, but one that is better-suited for bench duties.

Philadelphia Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters that his team didn't retaliate against the Atlanta Braves after Spencer Strider hit Bryce Harper with a pitch Tuesday because he didn't believe it was intentional.
