American Eagle released several ads for its "Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans," campaign, all which feature the actress in a pair of blue jeans in various locations doing simple things like looking down into the engine of her Ford Mustang — a very all-american muscle car — before she settles behind the wheel and takes off.

Doja Cat spoofed the ad copy Sweeney delivered in one of the videos for the campaign, which has come under fire for its half-baked attempt at clever wordplay with “jeans” and “genes.”

While some have described the campaign as "tone-deaf" due to alleged racial undertones, others have praised the actress for killing "woke" advertising.
