At just 12 years old, China's Yu Zidi made a stunning debut at the World Aquatics Championships, reaching three individual finals and earning a relay medal.

Yu Zidi, a 12-year-old Chinese athlete, has become the youngest swimmer in history to win a medal at the World Aquatics Championships. China won bronze in the 4x200m freestyle relay at the Championships in Singapore, and while Yu did not swim in Thursday’s final, she qualified for a medal after swimming a leg in the heats earlier in the day.
