MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — A pet zebra that went missing in Middle Tennessee has been found and rescued safely after multiple days on the loose, according to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office.

The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office asks anyone who spots the zebra to call 615-898-7770 and report the location. Individuals should not approach the zebra if found, officials said.

According to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, the zebra, affectionately nicknamed “Ed,” was caught Sunday, June 8 in a field near the Buchanan Estates subdivision of Christiana.
